Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 tsp Stevia White Powder OR 2 tsp stevia green powder
1 TB honey (optional)
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 cup softened butter
1 1/4 cups chocolate chips

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside. In a separate bowl mix egg, stevia and vanilla. Beat well or use electric mixer. Slowly add butter until smooth and creamy. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture slowly. Mix well with wooden spoon after each addition. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop heaping tsp of batter onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 20-25 minutes.

Use green powder, and/or small cut leaf to add to sauces, salads, soups, stews as a flavor enhancer.  Stevia can also be added to a wet or dry rub/marinade for meats.

Substituting Stevia for sugar:
You can use green powder, white powder, or liquid extract. Basically, for bulk and consistency when using stevia instead of sugar, you will need to add a replacement filler. Best to use unsweetened applesauce, but you can use any of the following: fruit puree, canned pumpkin, yogurt, or furit juice. This will keep the same consistancy for the item you are baking. Guideline is for every cup of sugar thsat is replaced by stevia, 1/4 to 1/2 cup of bulk (applesauce, etc.) should be added.
